New Scottish Highlands accommodation centre, Braemar Cabins, launches a partnership with established mountain bike adventure company, Go-Where, to provide the ultimate experience for cyclists in the Cairngorm Mountains.

Known as the Mountain Royale, because of the areas links with the nearby royal estate of Balmoral, riders get to experience classic Scottish mountain biking right in the Queens ‘backyard’. The new partnership will mean guests can stay right in the heart of the action, in the centre of Braemar – a traditional town well known for the famous Highland Games festival late in the summer.

Andy McKenna of Go-Where comments: “The Mountain Royale mountain bike trip is something we’re very proud of – not least because it’s in one of those areas that’s still very much under the radar of the mountain biking public so it comes as a big surprise just how fantastic the riding is. But also because it offers up such a huge variety of riding from big mountain epics to sweet forest singletrack – plus a healthy slice of ‘après-biking’ too.

The holidays span one week and are fully guided by qualified and experienced local mountain bike instructors who know the area inside out. There’s also comprehensive back up support with a vehicle and mechanical assistance during the rides.

Lee Hardy from Braemar Cabins comments: “Having a partnership with Go-Where brings an extra element to our cabins here in Braemar. We’ve always known that mountain biking will play a big part of our offering, but Go-Where are so knowledgeable about the area when it comes to the mountain bike trails that we couldn’t resist the chance to work with them so our guests have the best experience they possibly can when they stay”.
